Winter Bus (400 side) - Ski/Snowshoe (read conditions in green)

This is a full day ski or snowshoe event.  We will have a number of ski groups, and at least one Off Trail Snowshoe Group.  You select which activity when you register.  There are no "Walk-On" sign-ups. 

Based on previous two sundays the conditions on our trails have been slowly improving. We have a solid but thin base in most areas and more snow is in the forecast, though not as much as the GTA is expecting.  If you are selecting to ski, you should be comfortable to ski all day on trails as we may not have leaders available who feel comfortable navigating a group off trail onto easier conditions like the marshes and ponds.  Snow conditions on trails can be limited at times (with rocks/logs not well covered with snow .  Many will find that they have a more enjoyable day snowshoeing. 

You will get dropped off the bus by about 9:45 a.m. and bus picks everyone up by 4:00 in January; 4:30 February and March. (Unfortunately, software limitations require us to post 1:00 p.m. as our cancellation time is 1:00 p.m.)  Read the links at the bottom on what you need to know about your day, bus pick-ups, locations, etc.

Our COVID Protocols are being updated but we expect that our members and guests are vaccinated and will take appropriate measures, including using a mask, based on their personal considerations.

Register:  Online payment or pre-payment is required at time of Registration. 

Non-Members:  Registration for Non-Member/Guests close Thursday midnight ($15 guest fee + bus fare).  

Late Registration (Members Only):  A $10 late fee surcharge is added onto your registration fee at time of booking if you book after the Friday 1:00 p.m. cut off.

Cancellations:    Online by Friday 1 p.m. before the event to receive a credit.  Please follow the COVID Protocols.  If the Club is unable to run a bus for any reason, monies will be credited to your account with refunds settled before our AGM  (April).

3.  Click the  Cancel Registration button.
