Hike - (10-14 km) - Get to Know Your Trails

Hike will be on Saturday, Dec. 3.  Register by Thursday, 9 p.m.

Each week on Sat. or Sun., there will be a different hike scheduled on the Five Winds trails or possibly on other trails close to the Five Winds trails.  The lengths will vary (10-14 km) approx. but it is based on time rather than distance with possible add-ons.   Planned route announced on Members Only Google Group on Wednesday before.

Wearing hunter/blaze orange is mandatory.

Registration will open on Wed. afternoon approx. 4 p.m. and will close by Thurs. 9 p.m. (if hike is on Sat.) or Fri. 9 p.m. (if hike is on Sun.).  The hike dates are weather dependent which is why the short notice on confirmation of when a hike is planned.

Ski/Snowshoe:  We've already had our first taste of winter so these hikes dates could become a ski or snowshoe date instead.  It's not uncommon in Nov/Dec to have enough snow to ski/snowshoe one week, and then it's back to hiking the next weekend.

Start Time:  9:30 a.m. (at trailhead)
Finish Time:  4:00 p.m. (back at trailhead)

Share carpool costs:  approx. $20.  

Guests/Non-Members:  $5 contribution  to go towards trail maintenance payable to leader at trail head.
